Simply put, mentoring is one person helping another

A mentor is someone who has similar experience and/or knowledge, to understand your context. They won’t solve your problems for you, but they’ll help you work out your own solutions and help you progress in your career. The benefits of being a mentor include:

    • Increases confidence, knowledge and skills
    • Advances careers
    • Hones leadership skills
    • Gives something back, which always feels good
    • Builds a professional legacy
    • Re-enforces existing knowledge
